<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device for allowing easy work relating to a mechanism and its formation while reducing the need for design corresponding to installation conditions and the shape of a sign pole, and to provide the sign pole and an illumination pole using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The sign poles to be mounted have different frequencies of vibration to be damped depending on installation conditions or their shapes. A space adjusting means is provided on a space holding material 2 for adjusting a space between an oscillator 3 and a mounting fixing part 1. Thus, the oscillator 3 has a way of most effective oscillation for the damping the frequencies to be damped, and so it is adaptable to wide-rage vibration frequencies, reducing the need for designing the device corresponding to installation conditions and the shape of the sign pole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
