<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable antibacterial, anti-mold, antifouling, and deodorizing effect, or the like by utilizing an optical duct to make photocatalysts act without using electrical energy. <P>SOLUTION: Natural lights taken in from a lighting part 2 is guided to a kitchen, bathroom, or the like by the optical duct 1 to be released in the interior. A part or the whole of components constituting a space such as floor, wall, ceiling is/are composed of members containing photocatalysts or members applied with a photocatalytic function by being coated or immersed. Ultraviolet lights from the optical duct is radiated, without using electrical energy such as a fluorescent lamp, a windowless closed space achieves increase in reduction effect of causative agents of sick building or feeling of discomfort such as antibacterial, anti-mold, antifouling, or deodorizing effects. High ultraviolet permeable glass is used for glass providing for the lighting part 2 or a light releasing part 3 of the optical duct 1, or a high ultraviolet reflective reflection surface of the optical duct 1 is used, so as to enable further effective guidance of ultraviolet lights. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
