<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely transmit data to a desired transmission range while reducing the load of a user to determine the transmission range in the case of transmitting data to a device on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A device management software makes the user enter an input for specifying a device and determines a broadcast address to a network in which the device exists from the address information of the device specified by the input.
