PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information signal transmitting apparatus having a wide area where it can be remotely controlled, and capable of preventing leakage of signals when it is used for an indoor wiring system. SOLUTION: The information signal transmitting device 10a is used for a wiring system supplied with power from a power line L1 and an information line L2 installed indoors, and provided with a functional device such as a basic functional module 8b for exchanging information signals and an expanded functional module 10b. The apparatus 10a is provided with a module body 10A housing a microphone M1 for converting ultrasonic signals transmitted by an ultrasonic wave remote controller 50 into electric signals. and an information transmitting means for converting an output of the microphone M1 into information signals, and transmitting the signals to the functional device via the information line L2.
