PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide mechanism of a portable apparatus which can be opened or closed with high operability. SOLUTION: A slide energizing means 4 is provided between a first case 11 and a second case 12 in such a manner wherein its one end one is fixed to the first mounting part of the first case 11, and its other end is fixed to the second case 12 to force the first case 11 and second case 12 to slide in an opening direction or a closing direction from a prescribed opening/closing position. A pivotal shaft 5 serving as the first mounting part is mounted on the first case 11 in a pivoting manner, a drive means 7 is provided, which makes the pivotal shaft 5 pivot to automatically force the first case 11 and second case 12 by the energizing force of the energizing means 4 to slide into an open state or a close state from a close state or an open state, and the first case 11 and second case 12 are configured so as to be both manually and automatically opened or closed.
