PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of solving various problems caused by a silence interval when performing facsimile transmission via an IP phone network and to provide an operation control method and an operation control program thereof. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine 10 including a transmission reception means for making communication by utilizing an IP phone network is characterized by including: a silence interval detection circuit 15 for detecting the silence interval caused in the IP phone network for executing facsimile transmission via the transmission reception means; and a control section 16 that has a function of interrupting the faxing via the transmission reception means when the number of the silence intervals detected by the silence interval detection circuit 15 reaches a prescribed number of times or over.
