PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which has a simple structure and can prevent effectively static electricity to enter into an electric circuit. SOLUTION: The electronic component is provided with a switch base plate 10 on which a push switch 17 is fixed, a keytop 50 having a push part 57 which pushes the push switch 17, and a coil spring 60 for pushing up the keytop 50 which is fixed between the switch base plate 10 and the keytop 50 and shoots up the keytop in a direction of parting from the switch base plate 10. An earth pattern is formed in a position surrounding the push switch on the upper face of the switch base plate and simultaneously the coil spring 60 is made to contact the earth pattern 41 to form an earth member.
