PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow operation so that a user does not feel displeasure when a plurality of users use a large capacity recording and reproducing apparatus. SOLUTION: In the information recording and reproducing apparatus having a plurality of displays 1 and 2 displaying broadcasting programs and a sever 3 recording and managing program reservation information, ID is given to the displays 1 and 2, the sever 3 records the program reservation information with the number, when reservation of the same number is performed from the display 1 or 2 having different ID, different ID is given to the same number program reservation information.
