PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental composition which realizes the excellent adhesive strength of a repairing material to dentin and adhesion durability without needing an etching treatment with an acid aqueous solution or the like, when teeth are repaired in a dental treatment field or the like. SOLUTION: This dental composition is prepared by compounding a resin acid, preferably a rosin-based resin acid such as abietic acid with a dental pre-treating material comprising a polymerizable monomer containing a strongly acidic group such as a phosphoric acid group, water and a water-soluble organic solvent. Also, the dental composition is prepared by compounding the resin with a dental adhesive comprising a polymerizable monomer containing a strongly acidic group, water and a photopolymerization initiator.
