PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a structural material within an ozonizer hard to be corroded by optimizing the structural material, and to obtain an ozonizer having high reliability. SOLUTION: The ozonizer has: a first electrode 4 metallized on the inside of a cylindrical discharge tube; a second electrode 2 disposed in such a way as to enclose the first electrode 4 and configured such that it is cooled from the outside; and a high-voltage power supply 18 for applying a high voltage between the first and second electrodes, wherein a member provided within the first electrode 4 is made of a material having high corrosion preventing performance against nitric acid, etc., other than organic materials.
