PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-processing apparatus capable of reducing stacking collapse or the like when discharging stapled papers. SOLUTION: The paper post-processing apparatus comprises an alignment means having a pair of alignment plates for aligning a plurality of papers conveyed from an image forming device from both sides and capable of moving the pair of alignment plates by the predetermined distance in the direction orthogonal to the paper conveying direction, and a staple means having a stapler movable along edges in the conveying direction of the plurality of aligned papers, and capable of moving the stapler to the alignment position changing according to the movement of the alignment plate, and stapling the conveyed papers at a plurality of parts at each alignment position. By successively discharging the stapled papers at each alignment position, the stapling position of paper bundles stacked in a paper discharge tray is deviated from each other for upper and lower stages.
