PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruded laminate for thermal foaming which is capable of providing a foamed laminate having a thick foam layer, superior in heat insulating properties and less prone to formation of marked unevenness on a foam surface, by thermal foaming. SOLUTION: The extruded laminate for thermal foaming has at least one layer of a polyethylenic resin satisfying the following conditions (a)-(c), which is provided so as to be adjacent to a base material having a moisture content of 20-30 g/m<SP>2</SP>and becomes a foam layer by thermal foaming. (a): The resin comprises≥1 and <50 wt.% of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and >50 and≤99 wt.% of a high-pressure low density polyethylene, (b): the resin has a melt tension at 130°C measured by a capillary viscometer of 80-180 mN, and (c): the resin has a shearing viscosityη<SB>0.01</SB>at an angular velocity of 0.01s<SP>-1</SP>determined by measuring dynamic viscoelasticity at 130°C of 5,000-17,000 Pa s.
