<p>A process for producing hurricane-resistant glass is disclosed, which mainly comprises following steps: cutting and edge-grinding glass; conveying the glass into a toughening furnace to heat it to critical softening point; conveying the above heated glass into cooling chamber to bring compression stress of the surface of the glass above 150MPa; acid-etching the toughened glass properly, and rinsing surfaces of the glass. Hurricane-resistant glass thus obtained and glass assembly containing said glass are also disclosed.</p> |
