摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional food increasing absorption conditions of active ingredients so as to fully utilize fruits and/or seeds of Ocimum, and to provide a method for producing the functional food. <P>SOLUTION: This functional food contains fruits and/or seeds and active ingredients of plants belonging to Ocimum group. The fruits and/or seeds of plants belonging to Ocimum group are brought to cilia so as to penetrate the active ingredients using the capillary phenomenon of the cilia and twine the active ingredients with the cilia and increase retentivity of the active ingredients.
