<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutral type inverter circuit suitable for miniaturization in which rush current at power up is suppressed while suppressing harmonic components in the input current of a commercial power supply. <P>SOLUTION: The cathode terminal of a diode D3 is connected with one end of a capacitor C1, and the anode terminal of a diode D4 is connected with the other end of the capacitor C1. A capacitor C5 is connected between a load circuit R1 and the joint of switching elements Q1, Q2.
