PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link element of a wristwatch band with a braided element (14), having an attachment device attached to a wristwatch (10) at a front end (22). SOLUTION: The attachment device has a case (24) attached to the front end of the braided element, and two attachment pins (26) accommodated within a side-face housing (28) of the case and is disposed coaxially. A free end of the attachment pin is rotatably accommodated around a lateral shaft (A) within two openings of the wristwatch. The case has a lower plate (32), and an upper plate (34). The front end (22) of the braided element has a holding pin (44); holding pin (44) is vertically fitted inside a groove (46) in the lower plate; and while the front end of the braided element is being gripped by the lower plate, the upper plate is attached.
