PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus for forming an output image without deterioration when the information processing apparatus forms the output image on the basis of an image received from an image reading apparatus such as a scanner. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus for generating output image data on the basis of original image data includes: a storage means for storing each block of the image data in cross reference with page information; a step S401 of searching similar blocks as to each block of the original image data; a step S402 of acquiring a plurality of candidate blocks on the basis of a result of the searching; a step S404 of selecting a candidate block including the same page information among the candidate blocks acquired corresponding to each block included in each page as to each page of the original image data; and a step S404 of generating the image data of each image by using the selected candidate block.
