PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely notify a user about the fact of an incoming call at proper timing even if the notification of the incoming call is temporarily held because of a user's situation or the like. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 of this portable telephone system sequentially stores incoming contents in an incoming history table 22 whenever an incoming telephone call comes under a "non-notification mode", monitors whether to reach set date and hour corresponding to the "non-notification mode" and drives a notifying part 11 to start incoming notification corresponding to an incoming history when arrival at the set date and hour is detected while optional date and hour is set in an incoming notification table 21 in association with the "non-notification mode" for temporarily holding incoming call existence notification when an incoming call is received.
