PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor which can obtain a high resolution and low noise image even in a case that an object of low contrast is photographed. SOLUTION: When a direction correlation value calculated by a direction correlation value calculation means 101 has a high correlation nature for a direction out of a plurality of directions, a direction correlation correction means 102 increases the correlation value more to the direction. When it has an equivalent correlation nature for a plurality of directions, the means increases the correlation value minutely compared to the case to have the high correlation nature for a direction out of a plurality of directions, weight of the correction is continuously changed according to the correlation nature of these multiple directions.
