PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self temperature control type heater of round structure with a long life having flexibility (softness), without lowering heat generating property even if a part is twisted by changing winding direction, hardly generating defective heat radiation, not changing output by the change of resistance even if the length of the heater is changed. SOLUTION: The self temperature control type heater utilizes conductive polymer composition having PTC property, and electrode wires composed of two conductors separated from each other by interposition of an insulation material are arranged spirally on a core made of polymeric material. A heating element layer made of conductive polymeric composition having PTC property is arranged so as not to stride over the conductor of the electrode wires, and those elements are covered by an insulation cover layer.
