PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of a fluorine-including sulfonyl fluoride that is useful as a raw material for ion-exchange membrane or the like effectively and inexpensively with no limitation in the molecular structure, as solving the difficulty in the production. SOLUTION: In this method, XSO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>A</SP>-E<SP>1</SP>(1) is allowed to react with R<SP>B</SP>-E<SP>2</SP>(2) to form XSO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>A</SP>-E-R<SP>B</SP>(3), then (3) is allowed to react with fluorine in liquid phase to give FSO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>AF</SP>-E<SP>F</SP>-R<SP>BF</SP>(4), further the resultant compound is decomposed to obtain FSO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>AF</SP>-E<SP>F1</SP>(5) (wherein R<SP>A</SP>is a divalent organic group, E<SP>1</SP>is a monovalent reactive group, R<SP>B</SP>is a monovalent organic group, E<SP>2</SP>is a monovalent reactive group reactive with E<SP>1</SP>, E is a divalent organic linking group formed by the reaction between E<SP>1</SP>and E<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>AF</SP>is a divalent organic group formed by fluorination of R<SP>A</SP>, R<SP>BF</SP>is the same as R<SP>B</SP>or the like, E<SP>F</SP>is a divalent linking group formed by fluorination of E, E<SP>F1</SP>is a monovalent group formed by decomposition of E<SP>F</SP>and X is a halogen atom).
