PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container in which any tilting or curving of a long side wall inwardly is suppressed even when the load is applied from the outer side to the long side wall of the folding container assembled in a box shape. SOLUTION: The folding container has: a bottom part 1; long side walls 2 facing each other and hinge-connected to the bottom part; and short side walls 3 facing each other and similarly hinge-connected to the bottom part, and is folded by bringing down the long side walls facing each other and the short side walls facing each other in an overlapping manner on the bottom part, a male hinge member H2 arranged on the long side wall is hinge-connected in the vertically movable manner to a female hinge member H1 arranged on a long side bank part 1a of the bottom part. A plurality of fitting members 20 are vertically hanged from a lower end horizontal flange 2a of the long side wall, and a fitting space part A3 to which the fitting members vertically hanged from the lower end horizontal flange of the long side wall is formed on the long side bank part of the bottom part when the long side wall is erected in a substantially vertical direction.
