PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery timing determination method which reduces fluctuation of delivery properties when delivering the ink all at once from a plurality of nozzles and improves the reproducibility of the image, and to provide a method for delivering the liquid droplets by the delivery timing decided after that manner. SOLUTION: The delivery timing of the ink in the group of n nozzles is decided as follows. First, the combination of the deviation time among the delivery timings in the group of m (m≤n) nozzles is set. Then, the ink is delivered from the nozzle group based on the set combination of the deviation time, and thereby the delivery speed is measured (S1). Second, the combination of the gap time in the group of n nozzles is formed from the set combination of the deviation time in the group of m nozzles (S4). The fluctuation of the delivery speed when delivering the ink from the group of n nozzles based on the formed combination is estimated from the delivery speed measured in S1 (S5).
