PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently array discharge data corresponding to two-dimensionally arrayed nozzles. SOLUTION: Raster data are distributed to cache blocks after storing them in a temporary register of a serial-parallel conversion and distribution part 12. Thus, the data are stored in each DRAM block 22 corresponding to each cache block after dividing the raster data into groups for each drive timing of the two-dimensionally arrayed nozzles. The DRAM block 22 is set so as to have a bit length corresponding to the cache block and a word length determined corresponding to the nozzle array so as to shift one address for each one printing clock. The data is extracted from each DRAM block 22 after a printing clock for a word length so as to convert the data into serial data again with a parallel-serial conversion and integration part 16.
