PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder in which parallel conveyance in two rows can be carried out easily even for recording sheets of different width by enhancing selectivity of the width of a conveyance passage sharply at the time of parallel conveyance. SOLUTION: A guide for regulating the position in the width direction perpendicularly intersecting the conveyance direction of a recoding medium arranged in the conveyance passage of the recoding medium leading to a section for discharging a recorded recoding medium from a recoding medium loading section has a pair of outer guides disposed at the outermost portion in the width direction in order to regulate the position of the recoding medium in the width direction at one end thereof, and at least one inner guide disposed between a pair of outer guides for regulating the other end of the recoding medium. The problem is solved by providing a transfer means moving at least two of the pair of outer guides and the inner guide independently and continuously in the width direction.
