The invention relates to a vehicle door lock indicator device (1) which is arranged to be moved between at least a first position and a second position. Said vehicle door lock indicator device (1) comprises an actuator (2), substantially made of shape memory alloy (SMA). The actuator is arranged for effecting the movement of said vehicle door lock indicator device (1) between said at least first and second positions.
