<p>The method involves utilizing a distance measurement sensor (3) of a measurement system. The distance measurement sensor determines the distance to three points at a wheel (6), where the points are spaced from each other. A range video sensor is utilized as the distance measurement sensor. Data measured by the distance measurement sensor is transferred to a data evaluation unit, in which an axial geometry e.g. wheel camber and/or toe-in, is computed on the basis of the measured data. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining the axial geometry of a chassis of a vehicle e.g. motor vehicle.</p> |
