<p>The method involves determining a process of marking an edge of a lane and a process for an intended track of a vehicle (100). Time required for the vehicle to reach up to the marking is determined on the basis of the process of the marking the edge of the lane and the process of the intended track of the vehicle. The intended track of the vehicle is determined as a circular arc on the basis of current steering angle or the current transverse acceleration. An independent claim is also included for a device for assisting a driver.</p> |
