A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A DEHYDRATION PROCESS OF A QUILT WASHING COURSE AND A WASHING MACHINE CONTROLLING WITH THE SAME

A method for controlling a dehydration process in a quilt washing course and a washing machine controlled by the same are provided to start the dehydration process even when the measured unbalance amount is larger than a reference unbalance amount corresponding to a reference cloth amount group. A method for controlling a dehydration process in a quilt washing course includes the steps of: confirming whether a quilt washing course is selected; detecting the amount of cloth; measuring the unbalance amount; and determining the entry into the dehydration process by comparing the measured unbalance amount with a reference unbalance amount corresponding to a lower group of a reference cloth amount group if the detected cloth amount is smaller than the cloth amount of the reference cloth group in the state that the quilt washing course is selected.
