A water tank structure for simple reservoir with a potable water purifying function, which performs a water purifying function as well as a cleaning operation more easily to remove alien substances generated during the purification, which is constructed in such a structure capable of performing the cleaning operation easily, and which maintains its original function of potable water treatment, is provided. A water tank structure for simple reservoir with a potable water purifying function comprises: a semispherical reservoir(10) which is fixed by a support(12), and has a water inflow pipe(14) and a water outflow pipe(16) respectively formed in upper and lower portions thereof; a rotary central shaft(20) which is vertically installed in a central part of the reservoir, and has a ball roller(22) installed on a lower portion thereof, a hollow part formed therein, a water inflow extension pipe(24) connected to an upper portion thereof, and a rotary supporting shaft(26) fixed to the upper portion thereof oppositely to the water inflow extension pipe; a screw type water purifying path(30) which is a plate spirally fixed to the rotary central shaft, and has a plurality of partition walls(32) formed thereon such that the partition walls are spaced from one another in an equal distance; a water purifying chemical pipe device comprising a chemical tank(34) that is screwed to an upper portion of the rotary central shaft, and a plurality of nozzles(38) formed in branch pipes connected to the chemical tank; and a rotary power means(40) engaged with an end of the rotary supporting shaft to vary the rotary central shaft such that the screw type water purifying path reaches a position that is completely deviated from the reservoir.
