<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shock absorbing structure of a propeller shaft capable of easily positioning a stopper piece, improving assemblability to a connecting member of the stopper piece and stabilizing a sliding load of the stopper piece. <P>SOLUTION: When an impulsive force is applied to a first propeller shaft 12 or a second propeller shaft 14, the stopper piece 48 gets liable to frictionally slide on a connecting shaft 16. In this case, the impulsive force is applied to a projection part 50 from the stopper piece 48, and the projection part 50 is broken by the impulsive force, and the impulsive force is absorbed. Since the impulsive force can be absorbed and reduced by breaking the projection part 50, a sliding friction force when the stopper piece 48 frictionally slides relative to the connecting shaft 16 can be reduced by that effect. Accordingly, a press-in load or a fall-off load of the stopper piece 48 relative to the connecting shaft 16 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
