<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having good usability capable of ensuring security. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 111 of a network printer 1 comprises a document reception section 111a for receiving, from a client terminal device 2, document information in a first format which is one applied with fingerprint information, a fingerprint acquisition section 111b that acquires fingerprint information from the outside when the document reception section 111a receives the document information in the first format, a judgment section 111c that judges whether or not each of the fingerprint information received by the document reception section 111a and the fingerprint information acquired by the fingerprint acquisition section 111b designates an identical individual, and a permission section 111d that permits the printing operation of the document information in the first format received by the document reception section 111a when it is judged that each of the fingerprint information designates the identical individual by the judgment section 111c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
