摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of developing higher conversion rate from lower temperature for converting NOx in exhaust gas containing oxygen. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device is provided with a catalyst and a heat exchanging member. The catalyst includes a carrier comprising a catalytic component containing iridium and a composite oxide containing tungsten oxide and silica, and is arranged on the heat exchanging member. The heat exchanging member heat-exchanges exhaust gas in the downstream of the catalyst with supply gas in the upstream of the catalyst. Preferably, the heat exchanging member is a plate member having two or more bent portions. The ridge line directions of two or more bent portions are substantially in parallel with each other, and supply gas and exhaust gas circulate along the ridge line directions of two or more bent portions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
