PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which has a simple structure and can prevent effectively static electricity to enter into an electric circuit. SOLUTION: The electronic component is provided with a handling knob 10, a rotating body 50 which is fixed under a lower part of the handling knob and moves integrally with the handling knob, a clicking structure 80 which is fixed on the upper part of the handling knob and gives a clicking feeling when the rotating body 50 is moved, and an electric mechanism (a sliding piece 60 and a sliding pattern 137) which is fixed under the lower face of the rotating body 50 and changes an electric output by a movement of the rotating body 50. The clicking structure 80 is provided with an earth lead part 97 which is exposed out to the lower face side of the rotating body 50 through the rotating body 50. An earth pattern 180 is fixed near or in contact with the earth lead part 97, and static electricity incoming from the upper face side of the rotating body is guided to the earth pattern 180 through the earth lead part 97.
