PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent acquired contents from being utilized without limit, when the contents are backed up or transferred to other apparatus, and to allow the other apparatus at the backed-up or moved destination to utilize the contents. SOLUTION: When backing up or moving acquired contents to a personal computer 20A, a control unit 8A of the mobile terminal (mobile phone) 10A uses a first encryption key to encrypt the contents, uses a downloaded date and time, when the contents are acquired or a random number and a telephone number assigned to the mobile terminal 10A to generate a second key, and encrypts the first key by using the second key. Then the mobile terminal 10A makes the downloaded date and the time or the random number, the encrypted contents, and the first key encrypted by the second key associated with each other and backs up or transfers them to the personal computer 20A.
