PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-wire electronic switch capable of reducing the effect of an increase in the current flowing to a function section on a load by reducing the consumed power of the function section through the stopping of an operation of the function section as required. SOLUTION: The function section 8 includes at least one of a notice function and a sensor function, and a control section 3 controls supply of power to the function section 8 for its operation. The control section 3 supplies power to the function section 8 and outputs a notice signal to the function section 8 when the function section 8 has the notice function. On the other hand, when the function section 8 includes the sensor function, the control section 3 inputs a sensor signal from the function section 8. When a control signal for selecting electric switching of a triac 10 of a load switching section 1 goes to a high level, a third power supply section 6 is turned on to supply power to a first power supply section 4. When the setting of the control section 3 indicates supply of power to the function section 8 at that time, the control section 3 supplies power to the function section 8. On the other hand, when the setting of the control section 3 indicates stopping of power to the function section 8, the control section 3 supplies no power to the function section 8.
