PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network equipment management system for maintaining the matching of configuration information as a whole when the configuration information of a plurality of pieces of network equipment changes. SOLUTION: This network equipment management system is configured by connecting pieces of network equipment (1, 2, 3) for providing a service on a network to management operation terminals (A, B) capable of using the service, and the pieces of network equipment are respectively provided with storage means (11, 21, and 31) for storing the list information of identifiers uniquely showing the pieces of network equipment and the final update time of the list information, and the management operation terminals collect the list information and final update time of the identifiers stored in the storage means of the pieces of network equipment in response to a request from the management terminal equipment, and use the list information whose final update time is the latest.
