PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel by which product yield is enhanced, and to provide the liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: Whether or not a local interference color appears is inspected by transmitting light rays through the liquid crystal display panel, in which a pair of substrates are stuck together. When the interference color appears, it is authorized that a foreign matter exists at a center position of the interference color, the relevant position is pressurized from the outside of the liquid crystal display panel so that thickness direction dimension is reduced, and the pressurization state is continued for predetermined hours to destroy or plastically deform the foreign matter, thereby eliminating the nonuniformity of cell gaps.
