PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making tool rotary driving device on a turret excellent in durability capable of working in high precision without causing a problem of abrasion and capable of realizing engaging connection with a transmission rotation axis by revolution in simple constitution without power loss by rotating and driving a rotary tool at a working position. SOLUTION: This tool rotary driving device on the turret is constituted to hold a direction of a holder shaft 7 by providing a regulation part 11 to hold the holder shaft 7 in a specified direction by automatically revolving, engaging and connecting the holder shaft 7 and a transmission rotation axis 6 of a tool holder 2 at the working position S and whirl-stop regulating the holder shaft 7 not existing at the working position S from which engaging connection is released along the circumferential direction of an eccentric revolving part 12 to revolve around an eccentric position as its center and whirl-stopping the holder shaft 7 dislocated from the working position S by relative movement of the regulation part 11 against the holder shaft 7 by this eccentric revolution.
