PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device capable of miniaturizing a washing tank to the utmost, unnecessary for housing a basket in the washing tank and capable of also realizing the washing tank in a hermetically closed state. SOLUTION: The washing device is equipped with the baskets BK to the upper parts of the washing tanks WAS1-WAS3 along a feed rail RL, hermetically closing devices SL for downward pressing the baskets BK by falling operation and the washing tanks WAS1-WAS3 for receiving the baskets BK allowed to further fall corresponding to the further falling operation of the hermetically closing devices SL. In a state that each of the hermetically closing device SL falls to a limit position, the upper and under surfaces of each of the baskets BK are sealed by each of the hermetically closing device SL and each washing tank WAS.
