PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corridor lamp which allows a medical worker to identify a patient by name with guarded privacy of the patient. SOLUTION: The visitor of a patient is indicated to carry a wireless tag 7 which has identification information of the patient and is permitted to show the name of the patient on the corridor lamp 1 of the patient's room. The tag 7, which is approaching the corridor lamp 1, lights the lamp to show the patient to be visited but no other patients by the name on the display 6, so that the visitor can not see the names of other patients to guard their privacy. Meanwhile, the medical worker, who does not carry the wireless tag 7, is always provided with all the names of the patients shown on the display 6 of the corridor lamp 1 to confirm without troublesome procedures.
