PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal sound monitoring nurse call apparatus eliminating its malfunction due to sounds emitted by the normal use of electronic devices in a room such as in-house broadcast sounds and warning buzzer sounds (hereinafter "normal sounds"). SOLUTION: This abnormal sound monitoring nurse call apparatus is characterized in having an avoidance sound storage part storing the normal sounds such as a forenotice sound when starting the in-house broadcast and the warning buzzer sounds as avoidance sounds and, when an inputted sound pattern is accorded with or similar to either of the avoidance sound pattern stored in the avoidance sound storage part, prohibiting the output of an alarming signal even if the volume level of the inputted sound is a prescribed level or more.
