The invention concerns a system for controlling the duration and the temperature of a decoction applicable to tea infusion. The system enables a series of selected temperature ranges to be applied to the liquid with well defined duration. The device is designed to receive the user's teapot (8) which is set on the receptacle (2) of the appliance and which maintains its removable and independent character without any device being immersed in the liquid. A thermoelectric module (3) actively transfers the calories between the receptacle (4) and the heat dissipator (2). The efficiency of the dissipator (2) is improved by the presence of a fan (6). The thermal contact between the teapot (8) and the receptacle (4) is improved by a solid but deformable heat-conducting material (5). The whole system is monitored by a digital electronics (7). The invention is mainly useful for observing parameters of infusion and keeping the tea hot and also for making iced teas. |
