The head has a yoke (4) rotatably mounted around a C-axle and coupled with a multipolar actuator (2) for directly actuating and controlling a yoke movement. A motor shaft (5) arranged between two yoke arms is rotated around an A-axle. The C-axle forms a rotating axis of the yoke and an axis of the motor shaft with the multipolar actuator of the yoke. The A-axle is lockably arranged over a clamping (20), and a tool clamping device (15) for accommodating a tool holder (16) is coaxially arranged to the A-axle in one of the yoke arms. The C-axle is lockably arranged over a clamping (3).
