<p>A magnetic disk drive having disk stack of high stability comprises of a chassis, a motor fixed on the chassis, a set of disks mounted rotatablely on the motor and a spacer. The motor includes a hub which extends to a shoulder. Each disk has a fixing hole and the spacer is arranged between the disks. The disks are supported on the shoulder by the fixing hole passing through the hub. The magnetic disk drive further includes a circular pressing sheet which has a fixing opening at its central position. A connecting means can pass through the fixing opening to connect the circular pressing sheet to the central position of the hub. The circular pressing sheet deforms identically in its radial direction to press on the surface of the top magnetic disk. Thus it can reduce the amount of magnetic disk deforming, and can avoid influencing the head reading/writing data or protect the head against damage.</p> |
