<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method capable of suppressing induction of density variation when a gradation value of image data is corrected based on a correction value of the density. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed the printing method wherein by referring to correlationship information in which correlationship between gradation values of densities and formation rates of dots are regulated about the dots having different sizes, the formation rate of the dot corresponding to the gradation value of the density of image data is acquired, and the dot is formed on a medium according to the formation rate to print an image. The printing method comprises a step of judging whether or not the formation rate of the dot having a certain size in the plurality of sizes is changed from the positive value to zero by virtue of the correction when the correction of the gradation value of the image data is carried out based on the correction value of the regulated density, and a step of changing the correlatioship information based on the judgment result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
