<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve junction reliability of a caulking part between a flat circuit and a terminal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: A conductor 4 of the flat circuit 2 is arranged on a bottom wall 12 of an electric wire connection part 10 of the terminal fitting 6, and a caulking piece 14 erected from the bottom wall is caulked to crimp the conductor to the terminal fitting 6 in a crimping device. The crimping device includes a crimping means 16, crimping protecting members 31, 32 for preventing a load added to the flat circuit 2 from directly being transmitted to the caulking piece 14, so as to pinch the protecting members near the caulking piece 14 of a coating part 5 coating the conductor 4 of the flat circuit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
