<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control device having the function of adding a header/footer. <P>SOLUTION: The print control device comprises a print image data formation means for forming second image data transmittable to a printer from first image data that is a print object; and a header character string acquisition means for providing a user interface and acquiring a user definition character string that is an optional character string to be added to the second image data as a header or footer from the user interface.
