<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic member mounting apparatus which can prevent a separation between an old holding tape and a new holding tape connected with a connecting tape caused from a state where a member feeding unit is not used for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A detector sensor 67 detects an operation piece 66 to stop a driving motor 42 from when a timer starts to time from drive starting or drive stopping of a servomotor 28 of a tape sending mechanism 22, that is, from when a CPU ordered a drive command to the servomotor 28 through a driving circuit, or, when thirty minutes passed after an encoder (not shown) detected a predetermined rotation.
