<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a feed roller movably supported around a rocking shaft and capable of preventing insufficiency in the recording medium conveying force attributable to the position of the feed roller. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a feed tray 30 capable of storing sheet-like recording media, a feed roller 60 for feeding the recording media to a conveying path, an arm member 52 which is a shaft parallel to a rotary shaft of the feed roller 60, provided in a rocking manner around a rocking shaft located on the side opposite to the conveying direction side of the recording media above the recording media, and capable of rotatably supporting the feed roller 60 in its fore-end part, a first torsion coil spring for urging the arm member 52 so that the feed roller 60 is abutted on the recording media, and a second torsion coil spring 58 for urging a fore-end part of the arm member 52 in the increasing direction of the urging force by the first torsion coil spring while the angle of the plane including the rotary shaft and the rocking shaft with the surface of the recording media being as a reference is smaller than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
